Proposal format and guidelines

The SCRC has created a relatively easy process for submitting proposals. Course proposals need two components: 1) a completed SLO form (submitted through CourseLeaf), and 2) documentation (syllabus for a course proposal, also uploaded through CourseLeaf). As approvals progress, additional examples will be placed on this website to assist with preparing these materials.

Curricular and Experiential Learning proposals can use the form below to help with organizing your materials. You can copy and paste the text information from the form to CourseLeaf to insure that you have a copy (so you don't lose your work if the web crashes).

If you are having any trouble with CourseLeaf submission, please send it to the SCRC directly.

IMPORTANT: If you submit a course proposal through CourseLeaf, please notify the SCRC ( that you have submitted a proposal. The "workflow" through CourseLeaf can get stalled in the various administrative offices and we will try to guide the proposals through the workflow efficiently.
